Hello you beautiful people, hope you had a great bank holiday weekend. Ah, how much have I missed writing my blogs! Feels good to be writing again. Do you experience writer’s block too, like just not knowing what to write? If yes, do share some solutions that might help. Coming back to the bank holiday weekend, Dishant and I finally spent quality time together (Successful after a lot of nagging 😛) Does this happen in your relationship too? Wives are always nagging right!

So for the long weekend, I had a lot of activities on my mind (as always, an over-enthusiastic soul when it comes to enjoying life to the fullest). Of course, we couldn’t do them all but something better than nothing right! Keep reading my short 3-day itinerary on how I spent my bank holiday weekend.

Day 1 (Saturday): Lunch Date! 🥰

Ooo, sounds romantic! Lunch and dinner dates are the best kinds to spend with your beloved. Ever since the lockdown has been lifted and restrictions being eased a little we haven’t really gone on such romantic dates. We grabbed this opportunity and headed straight to our all-time favourite pizza parlour in London that serves lip-smacking finger-licking Italian pizzas. Guess what, that’s exactly how we had our first date once I arrived here. Recreated the magic! As always, we ordered our favourite Margheritas scattered with buffalo mozzarella cheese and basil, followed by an Affogato for myself and a cappuccino for Dishant. Mamma Mia! It was a truly satisfying meal. Aren’t you craving one right now?

Day 2 (Sunday): Sunrise view over London Bridge! 🌅

“There’s nowhere else like London. Nothing at all, anywhere.” —Vivienne Westwood

The quote says it all. London is beautiful in every aspect. Be it sunrise or sunset over the Thames, or spring, autumn or winter, London is just magnificent. To be honest, this was not planned and was quite spontaneous as I’m not an early bird. Being up early we thought of going to London Bridge for a chance to see a golden sunrise. It looked spectacular from my window. However, London weather being typical, it quickly became overcast clouds and started drizzling. Sadly, couldn’t get those promising pictures for the gram, but did manage to get some glimpses for you guys. We walked along the banks of Thames and racked up 10k steps before heading back home. For the rest of the day, we decided to stay indoors, run a movie marathon, and munch on pop-corns! The perfect end to the day.

Day 3 (Monday) : Thames RIB Experience.🚤

(On Saturday)As I was looking forward to doing some exciting activities over a weekend, I found this heart-pumping experience that instantly caught my eye. Dishant and I immediately decided to book it. Perks of being an Independent Travel Agent – I can book anything anytime😉. Earn while having fun at the same time, sounds interesting right!

Wondering what am I talking about? There’s no need to lose your cool, it is just some London sightseeing with a twist. If you have a Need for Speed, you’ve come to the right place. Thames Rockets a #1 speedboat tour operator offers you this amazing 50 minutes experience.

There’s entertainment all the way with their superb comic guides who showed us the sights of London whilst keeping the banter in check. If you are ever in London, this is a must-do activity. You surely wouldn’t be disappointed. Hear and feel the 880 horsepower engines rev up Rocket style and whoop as you whoosh up to speeds of 30 knots (35mph!). Don’t believe me, check out this video for yourselves and let me know if you are ready to take on the ‘Ultimate London Adventure’?
