Movies often play an important role in our lives. Humans tend to relate themselves with everything shown in the movies, be it emotions, food, travel, etc. In this blog, I am going to talk about movies that awaken your wanderlust spirit.
During this pandemic, I have been hooked to Netflix and Amazon Prime. I must have watched zillions of movies so far to kill time. How many of you are doing the same?
Some movies that really urged me to travel are listed below. I thought of sharing some with you all. Do add them to your watch list! These are super cool films that can get you pumped up for your next trip. Enjoy!
I] The Holiday (2006):
The sole reason for watching the movie was Kate Winslet & Cameron Diaz. I really like watching them on the screen. The movie is about two women staying 6000 miles apart, who have never met. They meet online at a home exchange website and decide to swap homes. Iris moves into Amanda’s L.A. house in sunny California as Amanda arrives in the snow-covered English countryside. Shortly after arriving at their destinations, both women find the last thing either wants or expects: a new romance.

II] Midnight in Paris (2011) :
All you Francophile out there, if you really admire this city you should definitely add this to your list. Have you ever imagined this city to be in the 1920s? Every night a writer travels back in time to Paris in the1920’s, where he finds romance and inspiration by mingling with his artistic idols. Doesn’t it sound interesting?

III] Eat Pray Love (2010) :
The title itself says a lot. Does it need more introduction? Julia Roberts at its best. She travels around Italy, Indonesia and India in search of good Food, Spirituality and of course Love..!! Do watch her journey, its surely going to inspire all those woman solo travellers who indeed are in search of all the above.

IV] Before Sunrise (1995) :
Have you ever thought of spending an entire day with a complete stranger whom you have just met on a train? Oh Yeah, this movie is just about two young strangers who meet on a train and decide to spend their day in Vienna. Watch this movie to experience their magic, pure bliss, and love.
Once you fall in love with them you surely would want to know how the couples end up. Do watch their sequels Before Sunset and Before Midnight which are shot in Paris and Greece respectively.
